The Campaign Nepal for Research & Development (CNRD) is a national non-governmental organisation dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged communities. CNRD works across Health, Education, WASH, GEDSI, Empowerment, Food Security, DRR, Climate Change Resilience, Livelihoods, and Environmental Protection to reduce poverty and inequality.
CNRD invites qualified and reputable audit firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for conducting the Statutory Audit for Fiscal Year 2081/082. The selected firm will be contracted for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years, based on satisfactory performance.
The objective is to obtain reasonable assurance that CNRD’s financial statements present a true and fair view of its financial position. The audit shall be carried out in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
The final audit report must include the auditor’s independent opinion on the financial statements, along with findings, recommendations, and a practical action plan. Management responses should be incorporated where necessary.
- Audited Financial Statements indicating whether relevant accounting standards have been applied and whether the financial position of the organisation is fairly presented.
Audit firms wishing to apply must submit an EOI and the following documents:
- Legal Registration & Compliance:
• Valid business registration and renewal certificates
• Latest tax clearance certificate
• ICAN registration certificate as a Chartered Accountants firm - Experience:
• Demonstrated experience in auditing I/NGOs, humanitarian, or development organisations - Conflict of Interest:
• Disclosure of any actual or potential conflict of interest related to this assignment
