Campaign Nepal for Research & Development (Campaign Nepal / Abhiyan Nepal) is a non-political, secular, and non-profit organization established in 2008, headquartered in Gaur, Rautahat District, Madhesh Province. Campaign Nepal works primarily across the Terai region and extends its interventions nationwide, focusing on community empowerment, good governance, health, water and sanitation, education, livelihood promotion, and disaster risk reduction (DRR).
In partnership with CECI Nepal, Campaign Nepal is currently implementing the “Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive Democracy and Human Rights (SAMA-SAMA Project)” across four working districts of Madhesh Province (Rautahat, Sarlahi, Dhanusha, and Mahottari).
We invite applications from qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens for the following position:
Position: Admin and Finance Officer (1 Position)
- Duty Station: Head Office – Gaur, Rautahat (with field visits across project operational districts)
- Contract Type: Project-based, Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage overall administrative, financial, and accounting operations of the project in compliance with Campaign Nepal and donor (CECI) standards.
- Prepare project budgets, financial reports, cash flow projections, and conduct regular variance analysis.
- Ensure strict adherence to Nepal’s taxation laws, labor laws, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Manage procurement procedures, inventory, logistics, asset management, and coordinate internal/external audits.
- Provide technical guidance and capacity-building support to project staff and partner civil society organizations (CSOs) on financial management standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Studies (BBS), Business Administration (BBA), or a related financial discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, and general administration within non-governmental organizations (NGOs/INGOs).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized financial accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of donor compliance, internal controls, procurement integrity, and government regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
