Executive Director Attends Safeguarding Investigation Training
Shatrudhan Singh, Executive Director of Campaign Nepal, recently participated in a three-day Safeguarding Investigation Training organized by Care Nepal in Kathmandu from 23rd to 25th September 2024.
The training focused on critical aspects of safeguarding investigations, with sessions covering topics such as understanding safeguarding principles, handling sensitive cases, managing complaints, interviewing survivors and witnesses, and maintaining confidentiality.

David Owen from CHS Alliance, UK, led the training as the chief facilitator, while Nabin Lamichhane, Safeguarding Advisor, and Sujata Singh, GESI & Social Norms Specialist, provided in-depth knowledge on gender equality, social inclusion, and safeguarding best practices.
According to Singh, the training will significantly enhance Campaign Nepal’s ability to implement its safeguarding policy. He says:
This training has provided me with practical tools to manage safeguarding investigations more effectively and sensitively. It will help us ensure that our policies are not just words on paper but are actively upheld to protect the vulnerable communities we work with.
The training is expected to strengthen Campaign Nepal’s approach to safeguarding and ensure the organization continues to operate with transparency and accountability in all its community-based programs.
Here is our safeguarding policy.
